Subject: 2007 Cervelo Soloist 51cm - $985I purchased this Soloist mid summer 2011 at the beginning of my first triathlon season because it is an exceptionally well-built and aero road bike that can be converted into a TT/Tri bike. The Soloist is incredibly versatile this way – google “Bikesport Michigan S1” and read their review. Note: the Soloist was renamed the S1 in 2009. After two sprints set up as a road bike, I had it fit out at my local tri shop to train for my end of season HIM. The current set up includes Profile Design Clip On Aerobars and a Profile Designs TriStryke saddle in the forward mount position. I am the second owner of this bike and it is of course used so there are some minor scuffs and blemishes on the crankarms, rear derailleur, and brake levers, but overall the bike is in very good condition and has been very well cared for. The bike is basically stock with a Shimano Ultegra build, Shimano wheels and a FSA Gossamer crankset (50/34T). Carbon bottle cages included – if you really want the Look Keo clipless pedals, we can discuss it. Recent service has included a beginning of the season full drivetrain overhaul (new rear cog, cables, tires, tubes, wheels trued) and an end of season tune-up (new Ultegra chain, lube, cable check, derailleur and brake adjustments). Both performed at local bike shops by mechanics, not by me. I’d like to sell the Soloist to fund the purchase of P2 for next season. Email with any questions and I will answer quickly. I’m also happy to email higher resolution photos of any part of the bike – just ask. Price: $985. Buyer pays actual shipping costs; I’ll pay to have the bike boxed for shipping at my local bike shop.
