Subject: Quick and easy distance vs. time question

When I designed my training plan, I entered times that worked out to 10 min/mile.  Hence, my training plan now has all my runs designated as, for example, 3.5 miles/35 minutes.  What I'm wondering is not the usual should I do the distance or the time.  Well, maybe a bit.  If I had entered faster times, say 9:30/mile, would the training plan be giving me more miles or would it have the same mileage and lower times?

For some reason lately something with my running clicked, and I'm consistently running faster than I ever have.  So all my runs are coming in at 9:30 or better.

Thanks!

Do the time.  Distance is only for choosing routes, etc for the run.  What you want to do is to stay in the heart-rate zones specified.  When you finish the plan and start a new one, you can redo your paces to reflect and changes.
