Any one done a Triathlon here.  My first time in Napa as well as Lake Berryessa.  Any feedback you can provide on the course will be appreciated.

I haven't done a Tri there, but I lived there for 30 years.

The lake is going to be a good swim. The temp will be a little cool this time of year. The bike will be awesome. I have ridden many of the roads, it's great scenery, but the roads can be rough. The weather is always nice.

I just checked with a friend and he says the water temp. is about 58-60degrees. The weather for the race will be around 67 degrees.

Enjoy the race and enjoy the scenery.

I'll be doing the Olympic distance.  The only thing I know about the bike course is from the elevation chart.  I'll drive it on Friday.  A water temp close to 60 would be great.  I ran into some people last Saturday during an OWS that were from the Napa area and they told me the water temp <55.  It also looks like the air temp at the start of the bike will be <50.

Brrr.  Starting the bike at below 50 sounds pretty chilly to me.  Arm warmers and a vest may be in order.  I hope your right on the water temp in the 58-59 range.  That low 50's rumor had me worrying...
