Not too bad, tough start. It took me awhile to get into a rhythm, the problem I think was that I was a bit intimidated just looking at the length of the course. I have never swam over a mile before, so over all I am happy with my time.

Ok transition, took time to put on my cycling shorts and jersey as I knew I needed to be comfortable for the 56 miles.

I was in no way prepared for this ride. I hit a wall at 48 miles and crawled back with the help of the designated last finisher. I'm a little annoyed that my time was 5:36 as it looks like I wasn't a 'finisher' as I was outside the 5:30 cutoff time, but it seems like they penalized the last wave as the cutoff time was 5:30 from the start of the final wave which means earlier waves had more time to finish the course and if I had started in the Athena wave I would have come in 25 min earlier... Not sure what to think about that.
