Swim
What would you do differently?: I need to relax a bit on the start...I'm always nervous on the starting shot and then my swimis a bit all over at the beginning. I can feel when I'm really flying but it takes me 1/2 mile to get there Transition 1
Comments: By the time I get to transition I'm settled a little better this time. In past I'm breathless all the way to first 1/4 mile on the bike but htis year I was less out of breathe. What would you do differently?: not use the heart rate monitor Bike
Comments: tough course for me, but this year my feet were not in pain, my hands didn't fall asleep, using aero bars helped a lot. Managed to keep my pace up and felt pretty good about how I was doing Transition 2
Comments: slow this time, not sure why. Ithink I had some trouble locating my spot despite good landmarks..missed by a length of rack and took me a min to correct. Run
Comments: did a goot job with pacing and keeping on the course with continuous running. What would you do differently?: hope to speed up a bit in the future Post race
Warm down: danced in the T2 tent to relax my muscles, ate fruit and some lunchmeat and got a quick massage. What limited your ability to perform faster: my run speed needs work Last updated: 2012-10-13 12:00 AM
