Subject: What to buy? watch and bike computer
I'm at a loss on what to buy...yes I want a watch for running but I also want something for swimming. But I don't have a bike computer...right now I use my phone for running and biking.  I want something more visible so I can see my pace, distance, etc.  Any recommendations?

Garmin Forerunner 310XT or 910XT.  They both can do all three.  910XT has more features and from what I have heard, is better than 310XT for swimming.  

I don't own either.  I have the 305, which works great for running/biking.

cdivine got it right.  

the Timex Global Trainer will do pretty much what a 310xt will do, and it occasionally is on sale for really cheap, below $150.  So- that's your other choice if you want an all-in-one device.
