I've switched to Looks (although I still think I like the Speedplay's better, my bike shop bf talked me into buying Looks...) and don't need these anymore. Pink Speedplay Chromoly light action pedals plus two sets of cleats. One pair of cleats has about 6 months use, the others have about a month. It's all still in great shape and ready to go. $100 for all of it plus shipping.

Also have a pair of size 39 Louis Garneau tri shoes and a pair of 40/41 Sidi carbon tri shoes (in pink). The LG are well used but still in good shape, the Sidi were used for races only.

The correct cleat orientation and float for a rider is dependent on their individual foot, pedaling mechanics, and cleat position.

How do I know if my cleats need to be adjusted? And how do you know in which direction to adjust them? I have been having medial knee pain and edema but my LBS says the cleat placement is fine.

I have pedals with the cage and when I ride 2+ hours my legs feel much more tired then if I took out my husband's bike with clipless pedals. Do clipless pedals truly make the difference?

By becoming more aware of your pedal stroke, you can choose to manipulate where and how you activate your leg muscles as your foot traces the circular trajectory at the cranks.

I started riding this spring with the Carnac shoes on Look pedals (with plenty of float). About five minutes into a ride I get sharp pain on the outer edge of my feet, just behind the pedal.
