Had some trouble with orientation. I only had a couple of short openwater swims, before the race.
What would you do differently?:

More openwater swimming. Strength training.

lost the chip in T1.
Everything else I was quite satisfied with.
What would you do differently?:

remember the chip. try to do the T1 faster.

Had some trouble with the chain.
Lost the chain twice, everytime I tried to switch to the big ring.
What would you do differently?:

more bike training, getting some speed.

The laces on my running shoes snapped. Couldn't find the T2 bag and I had 2 volunteers who tried to help me locate it.
What would you do differently?:

know exactly where my bag is.
check my shoes and laces before race.

running was good. Was walking a couple of times, but I ended up running well and faster than expected.
had some trouble with the bib number. The holes cracked.
What would you do differently?:

less walking.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

my small accidents with the bikechain, the race number, my running shoes and the chip.

very good race, this was my debut.

In addition to writing your race number on each upper arm, they also wrote your age on your calf. This allowed me to see who was passing me by in the bike section of this race.
