Nigerian man survives 3 days at bottom of Atlantic

Have you guys seen this story yet?  The video is downright freaky.  
I can't imagine what was going through the divers mind when he found this guy.

I read about this back in May, when the boat sank, but I've never seen the rescue footage before.

If I were that diver and some hand reached back for mine, I would have FREAKED OUT!!!! 

"The diver saw a hand in the passageway and assumed it was another body," Walker told ABC News today. "When the diver reached up to grab the hand, the hand grabbed the diver."

Amazing this guy lived!

If I grabbed a hand like that and it grabbed me back I would have to clean out my wetsuit once I made it back on the boat. Not to mention I'd use every bit of oxygen in my tank hyperventilating and screaming ZOMBIIIIIEEEESSSSS! I can't imagine the hell that guy went through down there for three days.

yea when they interviewed him he said that diver was the second he saw.  he didn't reach out the first because he was afraid the diver would pull his knife and stab him thinking he was being attacked by something.

he also said the whole 3 days he was down there was spent in total darkness listening to fish eat his fellow shipmates... i can't even imagine.

I can't even imagine the mind games that would be going on for that poor guy. Not sure if I would have the patience to wait for rescue (possibly waiting to die) or would kill myself trying to find a way out. Pretty amazing that he was rescued.
