HELP: Typical Cervelo P2 Ultegra used prices

The P2 is a pretty desirable bike, so it retains the value pretty well. In other words, you're not going to get a P2 Ultegra in really good shape for $1000… Also, keep in mind that the older the bike, the more components you will need to change out (typical wear parts… chain rings, cassettes, chain, brake pads, cables and housings). If the bike has lots of miles on it, bearings may need to be replaced as well.

It seems like the going price for a stock standard P2C is about $1400-1600. I would also budget about $200-300 for maintenance parts after you buy it to make sure that you have a bike in good, functional condition.

This is a good place to look for a used bike, so is Slowtwitch. Ebay may be another avenue, but there's always the risk that you're buying from someone that knows nothing about bikes and very likely neglected maintaining it… Craigslist may take some time, but it gives you the benefit of seeing it in person before buying.
