Subject: New to area/looking for training friends
Happy New Years (few days early). I have recently moved to Centennial and am looking to meet some people within the tri world out here to make some friends and have some people to run/ride/swim with. I have meet up with the Kompetetive Edge group a few times, before the weather really turned to winter, and had great rides with them. I'd like to find some people a little closer to my age I guess (27). Also wondering where's a good/close place to centennial for swimming? Rec centers? Ive seen Wash Park has a rec center with pool/gym, but no idea where abouts that is in location to Centennial.

Enjoy the New Year

Hello, and welcome !

If you have not already found them, there are local forums for your state. Go to the bottom of the main page, and look up your state. Hopefully, you will get in touch with locals and find some training partners to get your New Year off to a great start.

Hi and welcome to BT and the Denver area!  Here's a link to the Denver Parks and Rec's pool map.  Wash Park probably isn't close to you.  I checked iSport and didn't find any indoor public pools in that area but there are a few athletic clubs you could check out.  Also, University of Denver has a master's swim team if you're interested in that.  As the previous poster suggested, throw the word out in the Colorado forum to see if you can find others in your age group to hang with.

I started riding this spring with the Carnac shoes on Look pedals (with plenty of float). About five minutes into a ride I get sharp pain on the outer edge of my feet, just behind the pedal.
