Hello everyone. Just getting into the triathlon scene. I'm a decent runner, but spend most of my time one the bike. Swimming not my strong suit. Planning my first tri to be the Half Ironman in Raleigh this May. Nice to be here, looking for advise.
With a HIM as your first tri, focus on the swim, get to the pool 4x a week optimally to improve quick. As they say, one won't win a race from a good swim performance, but a terrible swim could ruin your bike and run by just sapping your energy.
What is your fitness level like in all three sports?
