I have a question about aero position and before I ask yes u was fitted for my bike. When you first got your triathlon bike did it seem extremely twitchy because when I get down it seems I jump into the left lane automatically. Is there anyway I can stop this from happening?
When you switch to aero position a huge amount of weight shifts over the front wheel. This greatly increases instability. It takes time to get used to the feeling and to accomplish a very steady transition. I just rebuilt my bike and am having to relearn the handling. One thing I do is shift back on my saddle before switching to aero, then after I'm settled I'll move forward again.
