*SOLD*
2013 Cervelo P2, 58 cm frame. I purchased this bike new in January of 2015. I used it for training and racing
(2 sprints and 2 olympics
) last year. The bike has approximately 500 miles of use
(I also trained on my road bike and my mountain bike
). I am selling the bike because I am planning on doing Xterra triathlons and mountain bike races in 2016.
The bike comes equipped with Shimano Ultegra deraillers, Dura Ace shifters, Profile T4+ aero bars, Profile Ozero base bars
(upgrade
), FSA brakes, Vision TriMax cranks
(upgrade
), Fizik Arione Tri 2 saddle
(upgrade
), and a Shimano R500 wheelset with a 105 10 speed cassette.
There are two paint chips on the right side of the bike behind the headtube
(pictured
). I did touch them up with paint, but the color isn't an exact match. The remainder of the bike is in excellent condition.
The bike has had the Tririg.com cable routing modification done to it
(see info at www.tririg.com or www.slowtwitch.com
). Basically this means the shifting cables have been moved to behind the headtube
(like the newest generation P2
). Rerouting the cables actually improves the shifting performance and makes the bike slightly more aero. This involves drilling holes into the frame behind the headtube and installing the cables. This was done by a local, highly respected shop mechanic. It does void the warranty, but the warranty is only valid to the original buyer anyway. I rode the bike with this modification all year with zero problems. However, I do feel it necessary to inform you about the potential for frame failure from drilling into a carbon fiber frame. Please check the thread at Slowtwitch about this mod if you would like more information.
I'm asking $1700 for the bike with the upgrades and the Look Keo Carbon pedals included. I'll take $100 off if you don't want the pedals. Selling price includes shipping to the continental USA. Feel free to e-mail {
[email protected]} or PM me with any questions.
