Comments: Went right to plan. Maintained a good pace. Drafted a college chick for kms 7 and 8 What would you do differently?: Turn the wind down.  Post race
Warm down: Long walk back to the car. Event comments: Great race for me. PR for 10k. Annoying unsupervised course and turnaround point led to many dubious results. 3rd in age group had a May 10k at 5:26km pace. Then a September half marathon at 6:05km pace. But podiums here on a windy day at 4:32 pace?!? Dude also absent from three of the course photo points. Hmmm. Course desperately needs a timing mat at the turnaround point. Drove down to the falls and stayed warm in the car pre-start line. Did some dynamic stretching and warm ups before find a good place near the front of the start pack.
