Comments: It got to be warm and humid. As usual I went out a bit to fast and started to fall apart at mile 20/21. Did I mention it was humid? It was 80F with 70F dew point at finish. To much for this north country boy. What would you do differently?: Slow down the pace by a few seconds! Post race
Warm down: I normally like to go get a beer right after, but this time with the hotel so close I had to go back and cool down for a while. What limited your ability to perform faster: Temperature and humidity. Event comments: The race organizers were great. Plenty of water stations. I'm wondering if they added a few extra because of the temperature? They seemed to be numerous after mile 20. Overall great race. I would do it again. Last updated: 2016-09-27 12:00 AM

My hotel was literally like 10 feet from the start line. I still got up at 5:30 for a 7:30 race start. Used the bathroom and chilled in my room for a while. I didn't go down to the race until about 7:00 to wait in line for the porta poty. Because, well, its tradition. I don't know if I could start a race with out doing that.
