Pre-race routine:

We had never been to this race before, so we got there quite early. There are not many restrooms, so we zipped over to McDonald's to use the restroom.
Event warmup:

Nothing other than walking from the car to the start and doing a very short "warm-up" run to test how the deelie-boppers would stay on.

Raining and cold! Windy too. Run wasn't so bad though - tried to keep up with Leslie, but couldn't.

Not much...
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around to get water and cookies. Went to the car to get jackets and came back to wait for the awards. Leslie won our age group.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Lack of training

Event comments:

This was a fun, festive local race with lots of folks in costume/holiday apparel. Would definitely come back.
