Subject: New to everything 36 years old and in the worst shape of my life. I was a gym rat in my early to mid twenties - started post college ed and got busy - quit working out and started getting out of shape. Nowhere I am 10 years later at 195 lbs and weaker than I have ever been.
I have always looked at people competing in triathlons as elite athletes and believe I can get there. I started a slow running schedule last week and exercised again this evening.
I want to build enough endurance to finish a triathlon as well as build functional strength. So I have a book called SealFit and am trying to use this to get into shape. I just can't seem to finish the first workout yet.
Anyhow - that's me. I'll be around for awhile
