Swim
Comments: swim went well. did not start out too fast. Was able to get on the feet of someone at the turn and follow him most of the way back. What would you do differently?: maybe a little more push at the start Transition 1
Comments: went well. I had put powder in my socks and shoes before so my feet slipped in quickly Bike
Comments: like the course, Bombing down the hills is fun. 4 laps and gained about 10 seconds per lap. Only snafu was dropping my water bottle when going to drink on the hill in lap 3. Transition 2
Run
Comments: legs were little stiff at start and got started a little slower than I wanted. Was passed by 1st age grouper about 3/4 mile in. Second mile was downhill and able to cruise at faster pace. Then felt like just slogging through the next couple of miles What would you do differently?: push pace more Post race
Event comments: Warm race with a number of hills. Went well for the most part but the 4 laps wore on the legs and made the run not as quick. Well organized and I appreciated the time trial start instead of a wave start for the swim. Run is hot and hilly which is normal for this course. Last updated: 2017-07-12 12:00 AM
