Subject: Chicago OD Triathlon1 week out. Anyone else doing it? I know my distance is there easily. I'm just trying to figure out how hard I can push and be competitive (and beat my friends ). My run is definitely my weakness. I want to swim hard, hammer my bike, and cruise my run. I know where I need to keep run pace to improve over the 10K and it's a pretty flat lake side run. I'm just looking for some advice on bike course. It should be pretty flat with a few ramps up and down to switch roads. Has anyone done the new bike course? Any transition advice. This is going to be a different monster than my 400 participant local Sprint. Luckily I am doing the charity wave and I should get a very early start, maybe the 3rd wave.
