Subject: RE: go by minutes or distance?Generally, time, but if you're using a stock training plan, sometimes it's best to make some minor adjustments to duration because you're a little slower or faster than the plan assumes. Our bodies don't know pace or distance, only duration and intensity. ETA: If performing the prescribed duration and intensity doesn't get you relatively close to the planned distance, then you may want to reconsider your choice of plan.
