Subject: Bike commute gear
Hi,
Looking for some advice on a backpack for my bike commute to work. I usually ride one way 10 miles to work and need a new backpack to carry my laptop, work clothes including shoes, toiletries exlcuding a towel and usually my lunch.



Any suggestions?

I just picked up a Garneau TR30 back pack. It is a last years model and was discounted to like $45. I was looking for something fairly small but yet could carry all my Tri gear. This one has lots of compartments and pockets and it seems to be of good construction and works well the few times I have used it so far.

Can you get away with carrying less? I used to commute with a stuffed bag. It was hot and the weight would give me a sore back. Now I drive one day with however many days worth of clothes, food etc I need for my commuting days and ride with just the essentials.
