Special Counsel

Seems to me the Special Counsel is indeed a witch hunt now. After 11 months with 17+ lawyers investigating the Trump/Russia collusion or conspiracy they have now expanded the investigation to include hush money to a porn star. What the heck does this have to do with Russia?

As Bill Clinton found out, if you have someone investigating your past with almost unlimited powers they will eventually find some bone(r)s in your closet. Do we really want our country to be seen as banana republic?

$6.5 billion-with-a-B was spent on the last election. There is bound to be modicum of impropriety when that amount of money is involved. $130k might sound like a lot of money but it is .002% of the money that was spent on the election. This is like a round-off error.

As long as people and power and money are involved there will always be corruption somewhere.

I have said from the beginning of the Mueller investigation that, unless they take down Trump himself they as just pssing in the wind. Trump can and probably will pardon anyone caught up in the 'witch hunt' just like he pardoned that AZ sheriff. He simply claimed he was singled out because he supported Trump. Trump will say the same thing about Flynn, Page, Cohen, et al.
