Subject: Understanding global disorder of our times

I ran across something on reddit the other day that had a tremendous amount of detail in regards to the global economy and the effects of population trends, trade, labor costs, etc.  One of the comments referenced the below video and I have to say my mind was blown.

There's been little pieces here and there that I've heard of and understood, but this guy does a really good job of giving a very big picture of the global issues we're all facing today and more importantly it really fits into why Trump is doing what he's doing when it comes to his global agenda.  It's a little long, but if you want to understand what's going on in the world today I highly recommend investing an hour to watch it.  Also, this video was from 2014, so it predates Trump's presidency.

Great video, really a lot to think about. I knew that energy was what was driving a lot of our current economy, I didn't understand the nuts and bolts however.

Friend posted this video on FB and it ties in a little to some of the population stuff.

Apparently there was a big fear of running out of food that instilled a lot of the population "rationing" that is now causing a lot of the global issues we're looking at today.  It's a much shorter video.

If you look at the first video, the country that he used to exemplify a healthy population distribution was India. The Chinese got into problems with the one child policy and I'm read a lot that they are headed to a labor crisis in the very near future. We (Americans) just forgot how to reproduce efficiently.
