New NFL policy bans kneeling during the National Anthem. I keep reading about how this violates players' first amendment right. Uh....yeah, you surrender a lot of your rights when you are at work. If I tried to exercise my 2nd amendment rights at work, security would escort me off the premises and invite me to never come back. If I wanted to 'express myself' and wore a tee shirt and shorts to work, it would take a bit longer but I would find myself needing to update my resume.

Bottom line is, football is entertainment. It is a show meant to entertain audiences and people pay money to be entertained. If the entertainers are piszing off the customers you lose busine$$.

My only issue is why the NFL waited so long. If the owners had any balls they'd of told the players immediately, "You do that sht again and you are fired!"

I guess Kaepernick is working at the car wash these days.....good for him.

They accommodated the players who want to kneel by allowing them to not come out during the anthem. I hope those that are offended by the kneeling don't get fooled by this compromise the league made with the players that kneel. The NFL bottom line was being impacted by these players, so they accommodated the players, not the fans. The protest is still there, we just won't be seeing it. $100 says the networks won't mention the players coming out after the anthem either.

Suit up, stand for the anthem and play. Or stay in the locker room, I don't need to see you on the field. Make a political statement elsewhere, the MSM will undoubtedly grant you a camera crew for your uninformed racially divisive BS. That's what the MSM loves to do.

A friend of mine had this analogy: How would you feel about your kid's teacher using the classroom as  a platform to push their personal political agenda?

$500 says the networks will "profile" athletes in the locker room and the injustice they're "suffering" over this policy.
