Cycling Routes around Jordan Lake, NC

Good morning,

I have upgraded my road bike with "lean" bars and I need to practice. I spend a lot of time near Jordan Lake and I live in clayton, NC.

Any suggestions for riding and learning my new bike? Is RTP good place? Also, any thoughts on the Varia warning system and Edge computers?
