Subject: RE: Recommend Meat Smoke/BBQ Cookbook NOW :) Not a book, but I got the following from my MIL who got it from southernliving.com BBQ Rub 1/4 Cup Kosher salt 1/4 Cup packed dark brown sugar 2 Tbsp + 2 tsp smoked paprika 2 Tbsp granulated sugar 2 tsp garlic powder 2 tsp ground black pepper 1 tsp dry mustard 1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp ground ginger Store in airtight container. Rub on meat (Boston butt) and let stand 30 minutes at room temperature. (I'm just reporting the directions...) |
