Ironman Texas 70.3 - Clinics & Bike course ?'s

Does anyone on here know of any local shops in Houston putting on any pre-race clinics to pre-ride or pre-run the IMTX 70.3 course? I think there was a shop out of Austin (Austin Aquatics & Sports) putting on a clinic prior to the original date.

For those of you who have done the race, is the bike segment doable as a training ride if I want to go to the island? My concern is shoulder access on the bridge over San Luis Pass. Any intel helps, thanks!
