Subject: RE: Napa Valley/Sonoma AdviceI think it's been made very clear that I have a bias toward Sonoma County. It's not as "easy" as Napa, so it doesn't get the tourist draw. Which is actually one of the things I love about it. It's an absolutely wonderful place to live, and a fabulous place to visit. Our wineries are spread out over several different regions, rather than in one long valley (the Napa Valley is just one long stretch of road). Each region has its own collection of great spots to stay and visit. We have redwood forests, the ocean, beautiful valley views, award-winning restaurants (John Ash, for one), quaint little towns, fantastic places to ride/run/swim, and a lower tourist:resident ratio than Napa. Feel free to PM me with any questions, etc. |
