Comments: The course changed this year and they removed the really BIG hill. With the change came a finish line on an uphill, so it was difficult to sprint to the line. I felt good and I'm pleased with my time. What would you do differently?: Haven't trained enough hills yet, so I felt that was my weakness today. ![]() Post race
Warm down: run and walk for about 1/2 mile and then stretch. Event comments: Quick rain shower 10 minutes before race. Rain threatened during the race, but never quite materialized. (Thank goodness!) The triathlon club puts on a great race complete with good looking male triathletes dressed like Cupid that ride their bikes along the course and encourage the racers. They offer a 5k, 10k, 15k and kids 1/2 mile. The race course passes the equine, poultry and bovine units on campus and they were quite fragrant today. Great after-race goodies. Fresh bread from a local bakery, plenty of fruit and best of all Jamba Juice! Last updated: 2007-02-10 12:00 AM
