The summit.

Nothing greater than reaching the summit!
It's so metaphorical, I don't even understand it, but one of the greatest feelings in the world.

I'm hoping to knock out Mt. Lincoln, Mt. Democrat and Mt. Bross tomorrow! Not exactly Whitney, but thanks for the inspiration!

cdom - 2004-09-12 1:42 AM well, let me figure out how fit this 512 kb picture into a 100kb and ill send it. Anybody knows?

I'm not sure what you have on your computer for digital photo management software, but most programs have a feature that let you "re-size" a photo.  It's usually a hit or miss experiment, you need to resize it and save it under a different file name (so as not to over-write the original).  Then by checking  the properties of the resized photo, you can see the number of KB.  If it's more than 100, just resize the original a bit smaller until you get it below 100, then you can submit that to the BBS.  Usually somewhere around 300 x 400 pixels will be in the ballpark.  One that I recently posted that was 375 x 417 pixels came out at 97 KB.  It'll vary depending on certain details in the photo, but that should be a good starting point.
