Champion  5615   |  Subject: Some happier TdF thoughts...After 2 weeks, and the 1st doping withdrawal of the race, lets turn out thoughts to something happier: the performance of Team Barloworld. Here's a team that got a wild card entry to the Tour and has gone on to be the Cinderella story of the race so far. 2 stage wins and the Polka dot jersey. They deserve a full round of applause for their first 2 weeks. |

Champion 5615 | Subject: RE: Some happier TdF thoughts... There are a certain number of slots that go to the registered teams of the "Pro Tour" cycling series. There are an additional 2-3 slots that are distributed by the organizers of the Tour to smaller teams that don't necessarily race in the Pro Tour. |
