World Series is underway

I know, I'm missing the party....Two hours was a long way for me to party then have to drive home alone.  But I think I hear them in CT. 

Woo hoo....in the 1st inning I predicted a 12 - 9 game.  I see I wasn't far off.  Well, the party was an unqualified success, even though most had to leave before the end of the game.  We had way too much food, but also way too much laughter and good times.  If everyone in the world was as nice as May and Steve and Ellen and Mike and Matt...wow, words escape me.  We just gotta do it again sometime!

It was great finally meeting you! Steve and I had a wonderful time at your home. Thank you and Patti for your generous hospitality - we absolutely enjoyed ourselves. We made it back home during the 8th.....nice job on predicting the final score!

Steve's already tucked in bed so he can go make me some money get up bright and early for work :-O

Definitely looking forward to the next time we can all get together with everyone else as well!

well, we finally made it home as well.  Looooong drive.  Ad I had trouble tuning in a radio station to listen to the 8th inning as we left.  Finally found the ESPN broadcast on AM, just in time to hear Bellhorn hit another dinger off the foul pole. 

Max and Patti, thanx for having us, always a great time   Steve, it was nice to meet you, and May, always a pleasure!

Evelyn and Glen, you guys were definately missed.  But at least we got to sing to Glen!

there's a Starbucks commercial with the group that did "Eye of the Tiger" (can't remember who it is) that they showed repeatedly during TdF.  It's pretty funny, and they sing about Glen moving up the ladder, but when he gets off the elevator, on comes Roy, and they change their tune.  So of course Matt loves it because now he knows someone named Glen!

LOL.....thanks for the visual.  Glad to see I am an (positive?) inspiration to your son..

When I told my son about the gig at max's he was bummed, he recalled your son from the falmouth sprint.

I would have taken him, and then, since I would have been going thru Falmouth, I would have taken the correct highway I-495 instead of shooting up Rt 3.  Mike said it was all your fault (for not going) that I went the wrong way  LOL

Yeah...and we could have used one more mouth to help with all the food that we had left over!

Just like at home.....everything is my fault!! 

Between ellen's boy and mine.....you probably wouldn't have had any leftovers....or anything else left in the fridge!
