Subject: Swimming Accomplishment!

This morning I did an 800m time trial and I was able to complete it in 16min and 37sec. Sept. 19 I did the same thing and it took me 19min and 12 sec. I'm so excited that I took 2min and 35 seconds off my time! All the time I've spent drowning in the pool is paying off. I've really been concentrating on my technique a lot over that last four months, and haven't really been swimming any distances over 200m. I didn't know if it would translate into an improvement on a longer swim, but it seems to have.

So, if your struggling with your swimming, just hang in there and work on your technique. Get a friend to watch you from above and see what you can't. Things will get better!

Great job. I hope I can say the same in few months!

Actually, I should take the time to thank... somebody... who recommended a couple drills for appropriate form.

Swimming downhill!! What a revolution!!

Wow, that is cool. Glad to hear someone progressing on their swim technique. I guess I am back to the pool for some more technical drills! Thanks for the motivation.
