Transition 1
Comments: Had to run .10 of a mile behind the building to get to the transition area. Had a problem with my quick tie on my one sneaker. Had to just take it off and tie the shoelace in a knot. Slowed me down. What would you do differently?: Make sure my quick ties are ok. Bike
Comments: The second hill was tough, but I felt good when I finished. What would you do differently?: Drink more water and train more on the hills. Transition 2
Comments: T2 was great! No problems! What would you do differently?: Nothing. Run
Comments: I felt pretty good on the run (since it is my weakest leg). A fellow racer who was having problems ran with me to keep her pace. It kept me from slowing down. At mile marker 3, took a hard sprint to the end for a strong finish. What would you do differently?: Nothing. Post race
Warm down: Stretched, drank some water, and ate a banana and Luna bar. What limited your ability to perform faster: I should have trained more on the bike (especially hills). Event comments: This was a well run race. It was organized and everyone was very helpful. Last updated: 2004-10-30 12:00 AM

Woke up at 5:45am. Ate a light breakfast. Arrived at race site at 6:45am. Set up transition area. Tried to stay warm...it was freezing!
Run warmup.
