Comments: Felt good but almost fell apart at end. I think I started too fast too early. What would you do differently?: Keep a bit of a lower pace in the beginning so I could kick better at the end. Post race
Warm down: After crossing the finish line I walked over to the grass, fell down and rested for a could of minutes. When I got up, by muscles were really heavy and tired. I walked around to try and get the blood flowing again. What limited your ability to perform faster: Breathing became harder. I think that if I was able to keep the same paced breathing, I would have done better. Event comments: Overall was a good race. Ate blueberry muffin hour before race.
Sipped Powerade until 15 minutes before.
Jogged for 10 minutes at 7:30am.
Stretched and kept moving around.
