I have not lost much weight but my shape has definitely changed. I think I have actually put on a few pounds but my body fat % has dropped so I am happy with that. In the end that is probably even more important than the actual weight loss...I had stalled out a couple weeks ago...I think because I was in a muscle building phase Yes...well technically a surgeon in training...I am a 3rd year surgery resident doing two years of bench research as part of my training |

Master 1726 Sacramento, California | Subject: RE: Ghosts and Ghouls Team Thread Yeah when I made my goal it was 2 miles more than I ran last month and I went out and ran on Wednesay...which I normally don't do to make sure I had the extra 2 miles even if I run the exact same distances I did last month. I don't think I will, I think I should be way over, but I wanted to be sure I did not let the team down! |

Elite 2443 Athens, Georgia | Subject: RE: Ghosts and Ghouls Team Thread I try not to be too conservative with my goals so that I will actually benefit from them but also keeping in mind that I want to accomplish them so I did 50 miles of running so I can get there. I have not had a 50 mile month yet so it will push me a bit but it is still attainable. |

I also did 50 miles...last month I ran 48... but I am only running right now as that is my weakest of the three...I am doing a 5K at the end of the month and then an 8K next month and then starting a 20 week sprint or oly plan in december

Master 1726 Sacramento, California | Subject: RE: Ghosts and Ghouls Team Thread I was a swimmer until I went to college...which in some ways makes triathlon easier and harder for me...I am good at what most people are scared of, but in the end is probably the least important to be really good at. |

Elite 2443 Athens, Georgia | Subject: RE: Ghosts and Ghouls Team Thread I got to perform a little surgery once at work. Well not sure it is technically surgery or a "proceedure" I got to assist in giving someone a tracheotomy (sp?). Can't say it was fun but it was interesting. |

Elite 2443 Athens, Georgia | Subject: RE: Ghosts and Ghouls Team Thread kromanowski - 2008-10-03 9:35 AM I was a swimmer until I went to college...which in some ways makes triathlon easier and harder for me...I am good at what most people are scared of, but in the end is probably the least important to be really good at. True in both regards. But it is a big advantage not only coming out of the water first but with less energy expended. A lot of people survive the swim but beat themselves up getting through it and it hurts them the rest of the race. And by a lot of people I am talking about ME. Although I have been swimming a lot more and am actually starting to enjoy long swims. Edited by triguynewbie 2008-10-03 8:40 AM |

When I told him it was for before and after photos and so I could see if there was a difference he thought I was wierd and has been ragging me about it at work. Am I the only one that does this? This is the only place that I have put up pictures of myself scantily clad. I love BT |
