Shiny things are HARD to take a picture of!!!

Are you wearing it at work today? 'Cause you SHOULD be....

Actually I was going to take it to work with me and hang it prominently in my workspace and then brag about the race all day.. sound good?

absolutely!

Oh I have the Tinker-Beth seal of approval!

heh - but of course!

Hehe, and how often do you listen to Dee? P.S. I added a message about you in my blog.

CONGRATULATIONS CAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

haha i Was just at your log to tell you I got a pic but you had already seen it!!! Clever Dee!!!

THanks... I do listen to you.... sometimes!!!

Would you believe I have an exciting afternoon of housework and werk work planned to celebrate.. sigh..

Hm. That's not right. You need to celebrate somehow. A special dinner, or something?

hmm well I drove home from the race yesterday eating jelly snakes... stopped at the supermarket and went in all sweaty and in my race suit with a singlet over the top and big obvious race numbers... picked up some white bread and a roast chicken and potato chips (was craving salt)

So my celebration meal was two chicken sandwiches with butter and salt, diet coke, Lime and Pepper potato chips and some Ferrero Rocher...

Needless to say I didnt need dinner!!!

This morning I had a chocolate croissant so I think Im done on the eating... unless someone wants so split a bottle of wine with me!

ummmmmmm, so, what's a jelly snake?

Although I had the sour natural ones that look like:

Yeah - maybe that's why all my long runs have sucked.  I keep doing this lack of sleep stuff.  Of course, some of that is my own doing.  (Too much fun!)

Well, I've been hitting those limitations alot.  You'd think I'd learn.

what does your son play?

So when I was a kid, my parents tried to get me to play clarinet - only because we already owned the instrument from my older sister.  I hated it.  Gave it up after only a few weeks.  So for my son, they test out all different instruments and see what each student is best suited for.  I'm thinking...please....please...not clarinet.  THere's only one thing worst.  And sure enough...The friggin' flute!   At least he's in a school where band isn't that bad of a stigma.  (It was in my school.) And he's not the only boy playing flute either.  Definitely different than when I grew up.
