you surely arent comparing us to teeny bops??? DEE????? WHERE ARE YOU???

them there are fighting words!

No, I'm not comparing everyone to teeny-boppers. Just you.  I was just saying that this will be easy compared to teen angst over pretend trivia games and role playing, etc.

uh oh...I can see this is going to be a VERY VERY long month!

I have a teenager.  Believe me, we are much, much worse than teenagers.  We have much more fun.

(Dee, do you have to be over 18 to buy a taser?)

chrisgood1 - 2009-04-01 4:06 PM So it is only the first and you guys are already 11 pages deep. I guess i am a little late to the party. Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I am 24 and am currently living in Reno and dealing with buying a house it is a real pain in the a$$ but at least i have my training to relax me. It is my second full year doing tris. My goal is biking because i have been slacking the last few months which is ood because i worked at a bike shop and that is how i got into triathlons oh well it should be a good month. Cheers Chris Make that page 12 TOP

To be 24 and buying a house already is great!  The process is a pain, but it will be worth it.

This team seems to be very, very chatty, so you'll have to stop by often to keep up.

I bought my first house at 26, it is the smartest thing you could be doing right now, even though it is a major PITA!!!  Good luck with it!!

Nice work on the toppage!!!

Ok, now that I've finally managed to get to the end of 10 pages already, I can commence with my intro.

I'm Chad, a super new tri person.  I have my first race set for August, and live in South Carolina.  I'm also a Clyde, coming in around 270 (but down from 297 at the beginning of the year) and my goal is running.  I have a 6 month old son, and work only on the weekends, so my workouts are all "gym" ones.  I can't really get out biking and running with the baby, so I do lots of spinning classes, and treadmill running.

Since I started my tri-life, I have dropped my 5K time by 9 minutes, and am looking to cut it by another 9 to get it to 30 minutes or less by the end of the month.  Pretty agressive, but assuming I can get over my cold, I should be able to manage it I hope.

Hi Chad!

Welcome to the challenge!

Hm, you're in SC? I'm in NC.

Hi, I'm Debbie, and I'm addicted to triathlon training....

Ooops, wrong thread.

Hi, I'm Dee, and I'm addicted to post padding. And the challenge forum.

On occasion, I even do some training.

Tasers aren't that bad.  I had a friend of mine jab me with her personal protective shock thing once because I was curious about how strong it was.  The flying fish-hook tasers are a bit different though.  I probably wouldn't volunteer for a shocking from them.

flying fish-hook tasers??????

Google, here I come! I *need* one of these!

Sorry. I was off polishing up my taser collection. For a brand new month of challenge fun and games, of course.

I'm here now. Did you you want a taser tap to talk about something?

Um. It's been awhile since I've been 18. But thank you for the compliment!

(Are you under 18? Do we need to monitor this thread better than, um... than we've been monitoring it?)

Actually, in some states, it doesn't matter what age you are.... they're still not allowed. (Yes, I just looked this up in Google. I *heart* Google.)

Lend to?
Or use on?

Two different things.

How old did you say you were?

(Just kidding. I know you're old enough for me to taser-tap. LOL)
