While my eldest had b-ball practice, I did a 1 hour bike ride, then ventured in at the pool at the school he was at. They had a 20 yard lap lane, so it was better than nothing. I did about 14 yards, but it could have been more since I lost count a couple of times on the lapping. I HATE short pools.

Seems like kind of a short swim.  You must have really lost count

Super warm pools with tons of chlorine dulls the senses.

Nah, sounds about right. Completed 14 yards out of 20... yeah, er, uh, you guys are rockin' the swims Maybe you should all start in the kiddie pools before moving up to the big boy pools. Nyuck Nyuck Nyuck!

As long as I complete the swim session, it's one step closer to KICKING YOUR AZZ!!

Another swim in the bag.   3200m,  a bit short of my 4500-5000 planned but I forgot it was Mother's Day and had to cut the swim short to get home and make supper.

Swim on.

I did a long swim today, for me anyway , 45 minutes non stop breastroke, I lost count and was relying on working out how far i did by lap times. I was doing something and 5 seconds per 50m (i'm short sighted so couldnt' see the board from the other end, so only saw it every other length) Thus i think i was probably doing 2 mins 5 / 50m? is that too slow for a solid breastroke? I will ahve to measure myself with a watch next swim and make the necessary adjustments

interestingly there was a bloke doing a wierd stroke at hte pool also. He was doing 3 strokes crawl, and spinning out of the 3rd stroke into one stroke back stroke and breathing then, before rotating back into front crawl...
