In fact it was as if we didn't even show up. Laura and I both just played bad tonight and the other team was good. We actually had a lot of fun   We were so bad all we could do was laugh and laugh. We still have one more match to play for the season, and if we win it we will have 2nd place. Not bad for not having played for almost 2 years. Can't complain. Way to enjoy the game...that's what it's all about, right? We were so bad all we could do was laugh and laugh. Is that why I'm laughing all the way through my triathlons?
Yeah, if we can't laugh at ourselves then what are we doing. Life is too short not to enjoy it. |

I survived but Im more confused that ever... tomorrow I have to make a final decision so I can get the neccesary accessories... The choices are: A deep purple satin shirt with a black skirt A black knee length dress with a scoop neck and tiny puff sleeves (straight, conservative but well fitting and could dress up with stockings, good hair do, high heels, jewellery and look very classic maybe? ) Halter neck with a black bodice (to just under the bust line) and white with black flowered pattened skirt (bottom part) which comes to mid calf... I would prefer knee length but clothes are made for people taller than 5'2 I guess! The good news is all of these could be worn to work... the shirt with a suit, the dress as it is and the halter neck... ok not to work but with a pair of sandals to any kind of summer dinner/date (one day!) etc.... If the theme for the Christmas party is supposed to be red carpet, go for the classic black dress w/ pearls (you could have fun with a feather boa - i'm sure you've got one of those in your closet) Then save the purple blouse and black skirt for the awards dinner and pair that with gold jewelry. I am a little concerned that you described one top as having a halter just BELOW the bust line. Did I read that wrong? Beth - Welcome home! We missed you!
