Long night, long day. He is OK. They thought he'd fractured his skull but the X-ray came back clear. They didn't get home until 2 a.m. and of course I couldn't sleep until they were home. Have to follow head injury protocol which is keep him quiet for 24 hours and just give clear liquids. He has no appetite and is really pi$$ed off at the world which is completely, totally out of character for him. Doesn't help that he had an ear infection and still has a nasty cough/cold and we just had to swap out his medicine for one that tastes ickier. Wow. Scary stuff. Hope he feels better soon. It is quiet in here. Everyone already on their weekend? We're finishing up the Christmas shopping tonight. One more iron out of the fire. |

They are going to induce our daughter starting at midnight Sunday night, so maybe Monday morning I'll have a new granddaughter. I can't wait to see all of them. But I guess I still have a month to go until I do. Congrats granny! O.K., that didn't sound too complimentary... Congrats Kendra! Maybe the wig/kilt/LD/toenails pic will come sooner than you think...   |

I did get them an edible bouquet, but last year I made each of them a bookmark. I DO have to go back to the shops at some point to buy food AND to post my presents but for now I would like to say I SURVIVED! But... no way am I going to the shops any later than first thing... it was CHAOS in the car park... I would have just given up and gone home if I hadnt got there early enough to get a park reasonably easily.... I see a very early morning planned on christmas eve....eeeew! |

Was thinking about gift certificates at the local Brusters (Ice Cream). I just don't know. It sure adds up and I know they won't be giving gifts, but that won't stop me. |
