I had my AM session this morning which is part of this challenge I signed up for... Results after week 1: Weight loss: NOTHING BUT... Ive lost 5 centimetres off my waist.. how that can happen without loosing any weight I do NOT know! Congrats Cat...my wife always worries about the pounds...I tell her to throw out the scale... (here's a clue Cat...muscle is more dense than fat...takes up the same amount of space, but weighs more...) thanks - I have gone through patches of trying to avoid the scales because it tends to upset me when I dont see lots of downward motion... I need to try to get over myself! |

I just turned 27. We got married just before my 23rd birthday, so it's been 4 years. She knows I want to wait until I finish school. She has started saying things like "when you have kids" as opposed to "if you have kids". Personally, I haven't decided. I lean towards not, but DH leans towards them. My wife and I had quite the different situation. We were married when I was 23, we had our 1st when I was 25 (I was a senior in college--quite the non-traditional student), so we were raising our 1st while I was in graduate school. Quite a few people thought we were NUTS...yeah, it was tough, but we look on those times fondly...would do it again the same way if I had it to do over again...(I'll be an empty nester when I'm 51, and that's when I'll start training for an Ironman...)... Fixed? Cat says dreams are free ya know Bill, that's actually my goal...start training once I send my youngest off to college... |

Oops...I guess great minds think alike... why yes they do |

You've really been kicking @$$ lately, especially for team Sexy-bank. Although now I guess it's team Even Sexier-bank. Aaaw shucks... Nibbs are the best support a girl could have! |

Heather has a coworker that's a jerk Bill didn't get to swim (apparently they actually have to wear a suit where he swims - LOL) Dee needs nibbs notes Kendra's not as broke as she thought she was going to be Pam's ship has sailed (so has mine - waaaay gone!) Judi and Beth are smashing their last year's run totals Kristen was crabby and didn't want to workout - she had too much to do (I think she did the stationary bike anyway???) Jenni - her butt is feeling better, and her son is a crack up (how did you not spit your dinner out???) Scott - is back in Cali - has decided Iowa is boring Blake - works somewhere with a very liberal dress code Amy - Still no internet???? There is NOTHING in the water We need to start a new thread soon to make sure Marma stays happy hopefully I didn't forget anyone!

I'm also tempted to enter CIM again, and use it as a practice run/marathon before Napa. You know, shove some race demons in the closet... I'll never be a fast runner but I'll still be running when a lot of other people quit! I love entering events for training. You just keep saying to yourself. "Wow, all these people came out to watch me do a training run? Oh look, some people set up a water station for me. This is awesome." |

I was only 20 seconds off a PR...I think being relaxed had a LOT to do with it...good luck Scott... |
