shmeeg - 2010-10-26 1:45 PM Get it all repainted.  Some sick custom flame job or somethin!  That would be dope.  That's a ton of running, nice work.

Tim, you comin down this way any time soon?  I might be selling the wife's Cervelo to somebody in SF and I'd LOVE to pay you for delivery service instead of breaking it down and having to ship it Cool

I'm going to be down around Thanksgiving.  I'll probably be out in the Beaumont-Banning area for a couple days.  We could meet up if that fits your schedule.

Where in the SF area?  It shouldn't be a problem for me to meet up with someone.

Shipping is a rip off.  UPS just charged my buddy $145 to ship from CA to OR!  Ouch!

Ah, cool.  We're gonna be knee deep in house hunting and getting ready to move around Thxgiving, not sure what we're doin.  Not finalized yet, but it looks like it may go to somebody in Miami now so I will have to ship it anyway.  Shipping doesn't look too bad.  FedEx estimates a 25 lb 56x28x8 box at only $41 to Miami.  The 'oversized'  fee runs about a hundred bones, which is ridonkulous, so staying under that max dimension is key to saving some cash.

A friend that's my same size builds all his bikes and has several. He ended up with an extra shock somewhere along the line. When I told him about my Trek he said he had one in the parts bin I could have. He said it was a Fox. I had no idea it already went to push. Although, with him, I should have known!! He's got a bike for every day of the week and not one middle of the road rig either! LOL

Yeah, and it was going to be mine.  Then I talked to my fitter and she said no dice   Think I'm going to get a '11 B2 or B12 instead.

SEEEEEEEEEEEXY!

I have a Felt (road bike) and the DA? makes me salivate uncontrolably.

I've had a kind of slow running week...did 3 short runs on my aggressive taper. I've been feeling funny - a couple little tweaks in the knees/butt/etc...hopefully it's nothing. My marathon starts in just over an hour!!! This should be interesting...I'm not sure my goal is realistic but I'm about to find out.

3:39 and change!!!!

I think I may have done some damage to my knee which has been fine for a long time then it picks this week to flare up again. Pacing the half mary next week might be interesting. Regardless, it feels great to have completed my first marathon, with a totally respectable time.

It's true what they say - a marathon IS 4 times longer than a half marathon.

Happy Halloween 'yall.

I completed my challenges for this month in the challenge forum

I had to put in 4 hours swimming in the last two days to do it!

The running was easy. My goal was 80 miles. I went 94.35 this month. I'm contemplating going for a 5.65 mile run tonight just to say I did 100! LOL Then again, I NEED A BREAK!!!

Great job on the challenge this month - would you do it again? That ghoulie group seems a little nutty to me...is this something you'll continue with them or on your own?

I think I'll continue on my own for now. To be honest, the post count stuff doesn't interest me much. Those threads get so long and confusing it's hard to find the spreadsheets sometimes. It did force me to get in the pool more for sure though.

Dave, nice job on the marathon.  One day I will get that done.  Definately won't be this year, but maybe next December at the CIM.

I broke open the piggybank a little today.  Finally decided to buy a Specialized Roubaix.  Nothing too special, but good enough to put some serious miles on over the winter when I can't be on the trails.

No doubt! You guys are bad news.  Its like trying to keep up the the other kids with the cool toys.

Now I'm looking at new aero wheels for my TT bike, so I can swap my existing wheels over to the new road bike.  Just waiting for that right deal.
