No time goal yet,  I'll wait till a couple of months out.  By then I'll have a pretty good idea based on training when I'll be coming across the line barring mechanical/illness.

mostly I"m aiming for a good swim, easy bike, and good run.

For those of you that are doing this as your first IM, my suggestion is to not set any time goals.

no time goals.  roger that.

not sure what plan i'm going to go with. using an endurance nation plan for augusta 70.3.  we'll see how that goes and then decide.

less than 200 spots remain for the race.

John,  how did you like the EN 70.3 plan?

I've got their outseason plan and I'm going to give it a shot for the next 20 weeks.  It's not my normal style to follow a canned plan, but work has been busy and I need to good return on investment and that's supposed to be their thing.

Thanks Andrew!
Speaks to how strong the Tri community is in Texas.  Wonder if WTC has ever sold out a new event without even having course maps?

i'll let you know you in september!  only recently started it after having to move around a bunch of stuff.  i've gotten lots of positive feedback though as i've been trying to figure out what to do.  i'll keep you posted.  do the same with the off season plan if you wouldn't mind.

jeff. read it on the post andrew linked.

No kidding.  But I don't think everybody knows who the RD is or who KJ is.  Hence my response on ST...

I think someone may have already asked this, but I can't find it anymore.

The IMTX website flashes the info then goes blank for each page other than the main page on both my home and work computer. The only place I can see the other pages is on my iphone.

Any ideas on what is going on?

I have no goal time because this will be my first, so to finish will be my goal.

Swim my best and get to t-1, have a good ride and have legs left in to t-2, smooth run and finish the 26.2, crossing the finish line under 17 hours, PRICELESS.  This is my goal

Finally finished. Just imported my training plan and let me tell you, it certainly looks impressive!

I think I'm all set:

- Registered for the race
- Made hotel reservations
- Set goals for finishing times
- Created and imported training plan into my training log

Now it's time to sit back and wait for May 21st!

Hmm...I feel like I might be forgetting something...
