I'm still here...checking the other forums...YES...I'm cheating on the Twisnibbins thread. I love the quiet of morning...until the kids wake up... Typically weekends are quiet on BT. People taking care of chores and other stuff they need to get done (other than chat on BT ). Well, if we could get Amy to tell us about herself, it wouldn't be so quiet around here , oh...and Beth's back...as soon as she catches up on her sleep, it'll get rowdy around here... And Mila's And YES. Volunteering helps me appreciate what I do have...a stable family (well...most of the time...), a warm place to live, and MORE than enough food (and Little Debbie's snacks) to eat... I tend to take Christmastime for granted...volunteering helps me to be grateful... |

Pro 4507 Simpsonville, SC | Subject: RE: They Who Shall Not Be Named (Twisnibbins) III Good morning, Nibbins! Hubby is out for a 60 mile bike. I'm gonna take the kiddos out for birthday present shopping then to a birthday party. My brother arrives tonight! Yay. Somehow I don't think I'm gonna get any workouts done this weekend. Advice, people, please. I don't know if anyone's dealt with tendonitis. I know we have a lot of PF on this team. But I am in a conundrum after my chiro visit. Normally, this is my time of year for lots of running and strength training. I know running is out for at least two more weeks. And my chiro strongly advised me NOT to lift or do any intense ab work. Should I switch to swimming and biking? I crave structure and schedules. Thoughts, anyone? |

With age, maturity, and exposure (leaving La.) I've learned that there is no "normal" family. There's typical, but I like your word "stable." Kind of like "functional." I get why weekends are quiet on BT - no one's on their computer at work. Hmmm... I guess maybe if Amy doesn't start talkin', I'll start talkin' for her. |

I know.... it's quiet. Shhhh... inside voices now. Hey Pam... what about a regular schedule of therapy? I can't remember where your tendonitis is, refresher for me? Pool is always great b/c it's non weight bearing, but the use of your muscles may still cause issues. (crap, the boss just caught me) |

Pool is always great b/c it's non weight bearing, but the use of your muscles may still cause issues. (crap, the boss just caught me) Hip flexor... well, don't sit b/c you'll use your hip flexor when sitting and standing... Per Amy (who I'm on the phone w/) Lay in bed and nap, do not move, do this on a regular basis everyday rain or shine, lay motionless until the urge to move passes. Okay honestly, for therapy I would... hmm... 1.) in the pool, bouy excerises, just drag your legs, maybe even try a water walking belt (so you're not using your hip flexors at all, just pull with your arms). 2.) Use this time to focus on strengthening upper body for swimming (and as Amy says, so you look good in a strapless dress, too) 3.) Heat the muscle slightly and stretch it and massage (Amy suggest trigger point therapy) also stretch your abs and back. Easy on the stretching to not stretch too hard, light and gentle. Boy, you guys are actually making me use my education. This is fun. |

TinkerBeth 23096 Liverpool, New York | Subject: RE: They Who Shall Not Be Named (Twisnibbins) III sparco - 2007-11-16 10:17 AM O.K., this is Nibbins Notes Part I (no way I have time to go through all those posts, but it's a start...I don't know how Beth does it). I have to work today. Please feel free to contribute to these notes at any time during the day...I left off at p. 45 of the Twisnibbins II thread: Tammy - has her eye on a new bike. Her quote of the day 'we're getting wide again.' I told her to speak for herself and was quickly reprimanded. She has weekend party plans which involve watching her Buckeyes BEAT Michigan. Sharon - worked out after giving blood despite the warning. She was hoping to strategically place herself on a machine next to a strong sensitive athletic type who would be able to catch her as she faints. Mila - showed us pics of her pretty pink bike complete with a pink Bento box, but despite that is looking to upgrade to a pretty pink tri bike. She claims I made her work too hard to train for her Half Iron relay. Little does she know that she can't be coached. Kristen - of Team Moscateers has been sent as the team spy. They are using a secret font to talk about our team, but it didn't work...we have Johnny English on our side. She will be rooting for the Big Max - his wife is foxylicious. (Guys, this is only 1 page of thread!!! {the previous Nibbins Notes was on page 44}...please continue the Nibbins Notes...feel free to cut, edit and paste into a new post. I left off at page 45...carry on...) LOL - Valiant effort Sal :-) |

I'm so excited to visit on page one. My morning update...I made it through CSI, but I can't remember anything about Without a Trace, so I'm thinking I must have fallen asleep around 10...woke up when the news came on at 11, and turned the TV off. So sad. I'm turning into a little old lady. Thanks for the new thread, Sal. I need to go get some work done, but if I need snack advice tonight (or even if not), I'll stop by. Kristen I can't believe they put WOT against ER, one of the most stupid moved CBS has made. I need a DVR!

Just got back from my daily (windy and freezing) walk with my wife, and now I'm ready to jump on the trainer and have it out with Coach Troy. I was hoping to get out on the mtn bike today, but its too damn cold and windy so I might try to double up on the trainer sessions. Have to see where my motivation is after the first one! Nice job Sal on putting in the time for those not so fortunate...you're a good man!

Little Debbie is a hussy. LMAO about Little Debbie being a hussy... I'm in complete agreement, that's why she is not allowed in my home. How can someone so cute and innocent looking be such a hussy? I am going to go purchase my Garmin right now!!! |
