Congrats on 200. I feel every milestone drags me deeper into the insanity. But it's nice to know I have company.

#482- 5 mi- ran 3 of those in 20 min, realized I had a good pace going and kept jacking up the speed to try for another 20 min 5k, but came up a bit short despite running my best treadmill mile, my speed progressed from 10 mph, and I finished my last quarter mile at 10.7 mph. Not sure of the exact time but I think it was in the 5:40s. I get a bit worried running fast on the treadmill, I keep thinking that one small stumble would be real bad news.

#483- 4 mi and another solid day on the bike, I really have to get back to the pool though, only went twice in the last two weeks.

Nice pace! You are getting to be a speed demon. And yes the insanity does get worse the longer you streak.

#484- 4 easy mi after 105 minutes on the bike.

#485- 5 mi progression pretty fast, for me. Finished in 33 min with a 7:50 first warm up mile.

I wouldn't say I am getting to be a speed demon. It's all relative, there are some crazy fast people. I am getting better for me, and am happy about that. My weight has been pretty good, for one. I am back to only 8 pounds over my IM weight. Also, the marathon build with somewhat high mileage (peaked in the 70 to 80 mpw range) helped build an nice solid base. Also, my bike focus has put me out of my comfort zone, and is probably helping to push up my threshold, and it has also got me accustomed to feeling pretty uncomfortable during my workouts.

Also I have to acknowledge this streak. No way I would be running nearly as fast if I hadn't started this.

#486- 10 mi, planned on a slow longer run, but with the kids delayed school opening, time was limited, ran faster than I thought I should have, but feel good.

Wednesday - #206 - 6 miles

Starting to build back in some moderate speed work after dealing with Achilles issues which I'm 95% sure are bike related. I believe I'm rotating my ankles inward during the pedal stroke and thus creating extra strain on them. My first thought is maybe my bike seat has slipped down a bit. Will get it into the bike shop ASAP for some feedback.

#4 - 3.3

Got my runs (not the runs, thankfully) taken care of before work two days in a row, something I hadn't done since last year. My enjoyment of that extra hour of sleep was masking how much I missed the AM routine I established last year.

Day 820, had a good speed session this afternoon. 8 miles at a 7:19 pace. I ran at marathon pace and did 12 strides during the run. It sure felt good to run fast again.

Quick recovery!!! I was slower than normal for probably close to a month after my IM, and that's much easier to bounce back from than a 100 mi ultra I am guessing.

I am not sure which is harder to recover from as I have not done an IM yet. I know I recovered a lot faster from this 100 miler than I did my first one.

Day 821, 11 recovery paced miles.

Glad to have you aboard, as a fair warning, once you start, its hard to stop. My wife started her own streak, and is on day 38, and I can't tell you how many times she told me I was crazy for running every day. It's addicting!!

#489- 4 mi. Legs a bit rubbery, did a bike workout with a 5 min threshold test just before. I did 10 minutes of spinning to get my legs back a bit before the run, but I still felt it.
