No such luck! Ive had some health stuff Ive been dealing with (chick related stuff) and it seems to be that things are getting back to normal so the docs (and I) can stop being all concerned! Hoorah!

Now that you've scared off all the male Nibbs ^^^^^^.

Glad that things are "getting back to normal."

haha well thats why I havent mentioned it at all up to now... its been an interesting time... lets just say I have never before been happy to have a case of PMS

But there was a funny moment at the doctor... they initially seemed convinced I must be pregnant... despite me explaining that based on what I know of the birds and the bees there is a a man required for that to happen... why would someone lie about something like that? Especially while in a doctors office?

The same kind of person who delivers their baby in a toilet because they "had no idea" they were pregnant. We get news reports of this kind of thing here in the South.

I had this, too. I explained there was no reason for a test like this.... They did one anyway. I was rather annoyed when the insurance bill came in, and I had to pay for a portion of it!

I think it's pretty common that they DON"T take our word for it. They probably think we're dumb or something. (Or sadly lacking in knowledge of reproduction.)

Hope the bike shop showed up. I know you really schedule the clinic so that you could learn how to change your tire

LOL...we didn't cover that...  All I learned was how nice the $4K tri-bike he brought was.

We did go for a nice short ride....  I told the guys I'd help schedule and promote rides here at the rec center and low and behold at the end of the ride they told me they would start on Thursdays...  Co-incidence.... maybe, maybe not....

kns57 - 2008-05-22 6:10 PM Today is the first day of summer vacation for the kids in our county. We have been signing them up like crazy for the summer reading program here at the library. This is the time of year I really like. We are usually busy all day long and not just in the evenings. In fact the evenings are usually quieter in the summer. Yahoo!

hehehe.... I was such a geek as a kid.... I always won for how many books you could read in a summer.... my favorite was the summer I read the Little House on the Prairie series.... those were the days... I could even read in the car and not get car sick...

Hi Nibbs!

Believe it or not - 100 enchiladas have been made and they are in the freezer now!

K and 2 of her friends helped my after the sports/activities award banquet - we got them done in under 3 hrs (including clean up!)

I am soooo relieved!

they are such nice girls!

My mom just called - she is still really sick and they are going to come tomorrow instead of today - this really stinks, my anxiety level just sky-rocketed.

Deep breath, it will be ok, right?

Beth - sorry you r mum isnt well. good thing you have a couple of young people at home to help you out with the food... worst case scenario offer to buy a couple of pizzas and let them get there friends over to help - will your kids do that?

Hmmm... what if you called over an old friend to help and hauled out some tequila... you visit, you make enchiladas, you drink, you make enchiladas, you drink, you visit..... sounds like fun....

Oh I like that!

Me too!

Dang!  I read this too late - DD and her friends are too young to serve tequila to though

enders_shadow - 2008-05-22 11:23 AM May I vent? (And even if you say no, can you stop me?) My daycare forgot to pick up Elder Monkey from school today. I got a call after 20 minutes because she was the only one still there and she was crying. GRRR! I usually love my daycare, but this is outrageous. OK, I feel better to get it out. At least this is the last day of school...hopefully Elder Monkey will repress the memory before September when she has to ride the bus again.

oh maaaaan!  that is tough! poor baby

what?!  I think it has more to do with the fact that Dee has been around more
