Thank you so much everyone. I felt totally rotten after the conversation. I've always thought Americans as being very opening and welcome which they normally are. I guess there's always one bad apple though.

I finish work in 20 mins and will be going home to wholeheartedly enjoy what is left of the 4th of July.......and I am not a citizen either.....

........personally I think people I know would be more offended if I was to live here and refused to celebrate it with them.....no?....I live in the US because I love living here.......if I didn't I would move back to Scotland.....so I am gonna celebrate everything this country is about on the 4th July just like everyone else.

I see places in New Mexico selling green margharitas on Paddy's day.....now what is that all about???

I didn't want to get out of bed but I forced myself and ran 6mi at 9:30/min, which isn't great, but it's only a training run.  I am glad to have it out of the way, now to just get a bike ride in this afternoon and I will be set.

Yeah, it comes and goes.  I am trying to average less than 10min/mi on the Marathon this year.  I need some work, but still have time.  I would like to have 9min/mi or better, but that I think might be a goal for another year.  Ultimately I just want to finish the thing, so I try not to get wrapped up around times, though it is hard to do sometimes.

Well Laura and I are going to the Denver Zoo for the afternoon.  If I have any good pics I will post them later.

Me and dw took the kids to the zoo he other day too (maybe that is where I got sick....hmmmmm???) and I got a few cool pics and thought I would share.

Hi folks. Haven't done anything since Wednesday. I've had such a rotten weekend. I got a horrible voicemail from a friend saying hurtful things and I've been under the covers all day today. I can't bring myself to face the world.   Things have been iffy with this person for a while and something I did set her off so I've been depressed, extremely all day. I take things like this too personally. I should bother a f**k with people like this.  I'm just up at almost 10pm, look like I've been punched a few times in the eyes because I haven't been able to stop crying. I just want to go home and never return. Urgh.

Tomorrow I think I'm going to attempt a solo Olympic triathlon. Swim at the outdoor pool, bike the trail and then run part of it.  I need to expel energy and I need to quit moping like an arse and let other people think they can get the better of me.  I can't carry on being walked all over. No more.  It's just times like these I feel like the only person on the planet.  Sigh.  No fireworks or BBQ for me either. I felt so sick I've only just eaten. Yes, the 1st since yesterday afternoon.
