tlnewman30 - 2008-10-15 2:07 PM As far as sickness/injury etc. I will say the same thing that the Marine Corps says "Case by case basis only."  But I will take all that into consideration.

Warning - yuo will get a fair few PMs (potentially)

Not sure I am following you.

As challenge organiser people will send you PMs if they want clarification

kaqphin - 2008-10-14 8:59 PM You could even make it simpler and just say 20 points total in the month if you didnt want to bother with time periods etc...

The only problem I see is that I can log 1min and it counts as a workout.  If you have a goal time, then you are forced to actually commite yourself to your workout.

well you make a minimum requirements of course!

That's fine.  I spend most of my work day on here anyways.

tlnewman30 - 2008-10-15 2:15 PM Now that I think about it I think I will keep it at a 30 min minimun requirment.  Not worry about personal times.  If the individual want's more PT than that then they can have at it.

Soubnds perfectly reasonable...

So yuo can get a total of 22 points in a month... each workout must be 30 minutes minimum in duration... and you can only count one workout per day... am I right?

That was always my logic.... I must say in the last year the amount of queries have reduced a HUGe amount... I think most people get it by now!

22 points for month, yes.  30 minutes per day minimum, max one point per day, no more than 6 points in a time period (only twice).  4 time periods with cut off days of the 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 30th (my birthday).

Ok, it's up.  We will see what happens.  Of course, while I was typing the challenge I realized I had nothing in place if there was a tie in points.  But I still have time to fine tune it.

I usually go with if over 100% by more than one team everyone wins... you can add things later... I often do!

Shall we post something in the other team threads???

I was thinking something like this:

Hi Team - just a quick update to let you know the challenge for next month (November) has already been posted here:

http://beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=136294&posts=1&start=1

Its all about hitting your workouts for the month and being run by the lovely Travis - all you need to do is commit to 20 workouts in the month, each a minimum of 30 minutes in duration.

What those workouts are - well thats up to you!!!

Cat

Thanks, shoud be easy enough.  The basis is already writen, just need to summarize the paper and that's the abstract.  Then cite my sources properly and it is finished.
